Since 1983's Honda save/build thread

Postby Since 1983 » Sun Jul 11, 2010 4:35 am

ok, so my build thread, here goes...

I purchased the del Sol in april of 2008. Much to my chagrin is was equipped with a bodykit, large chrome wheels, ebay coilovers, the most hideous and heinous interior ever imagined, and to top it off, pretty much everything that had been done was cob jobbed. Since then I (with a lot of help, some careful supervision when needed, and great company along the way) have managed to restore and improve this little car into something rather enjoyable.

When the build started out I kept my hopes and aspirations for this car in check. this car never was nor ever will be a 400whp rocket. It was/is being built to be an enjoyable car to drive and run somewhere in the 13's. The car was swapped to a B18B1 at first, then swapped over to the current setup, a poor mans R.

The time line, in pictures...
